Summer Heats up with Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. 2

The hit parade begins this weekend at Warner’s Drive-In. The blockbuster Marvel movie, Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol will be playing Friday & Saturday, June 9 & 10.  The movie is rated PG-13 and is 136 minutes long.

This movie is particularly special for Warner’s Drive-In. The original Guardians of the Galaxy, released in 2014, was the final film played on the old drive-in projectors. The drive-in was shuttered a week later and stayed that way until its revival in September of 2016. (Also notable is that Guardians 2 was released nationwide the same day the drve-in reopened for its first full season since the original film).

The movie starts at dusk (approx 9:00) and will be preceded by commercials from local sponsors. The price for admission is $5 for ages 12 and up, $2 for ages 5-11, and Free for kids under 5. Don’t forget to check out the snack bar, with all your favorite drive-in food and more being added regularly.

While there, you can also purchase raffle tickets to win a brand new John Deere Gator. Tickets are $20 a piece and only 2,000 tickets will be sold. See any board member at the ticket booth or projection area to buy your ticket. Drawing will be held once all tickets are sold.

This week kicks off a string of hit movies that will be played at the drive-in. Guardians will be followed the next week by Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, then Wonder Woman, then Cars 3 for the weekends around the July 4th Holiday.

Beauty and the Beast Plays This Weekend

The live action remake of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast will be playing at Warner’s Drive-In this Friday and Saturday, May 12 & 13.

The movie starts at dusk (approx 8:30) and will be preceded by commercials from local sponsors. The price for admission is $5 for ages 12 and up, $2 for ages 5-11, and Free for kids under 5.

While there, you can also purchase raffle tickets to win a brand new John Deere Gator. Tickets are $20 a piece and only 2,000 tickets will be sold. See any board member at the ticket booth or projection area to buy your ticket. Drawing will be held once all tickets are sold.
