Wonder Woman Weekend at Warner’s

This weekend Wonder Woman plays at Warner’s Drive-In. The smash hit from the DC Universe will be screening Friday and Saturday, June 24 & 25. The movie is PG-13 and is 141 minutes long. Admission is $2 for kids 5-11, $5 for 12 and older. Kids under 5 get in for free.

The movie starts at dusk (approx 9:15) and will be preceded by commercials from local sponsors. Don’t forget to check out the snack bar, with all your favorite drive-in food, and more being added regularly.

While there, you can also purchase raffle tickets to win a brand new John Deere Gator. Tickets are $20 a piece and only 2,000 tickets will be sold. See any board member at the ticket booth or projection area to buy your ticket. Drawing will be held once all tickets are sold.

LuLaRoe Drive-In Fundraiser Happening Saturday

Looking for comfortable clothes to wear the next time you go to the drive-in?

Mulitple LuLaRoe consultants will be holding a fundraiser for the drive-in this Saturday, June 17. The event will be held at the Pendleton Community Building in Franklin, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

LuLaRoe is a clothing brand that specializes in comfortable and stylish clothing for everyone. Come out early and see if you can spot a rare design.

Johnny Depp returns for a fifth time as Captain Jack Sparrow in the newest Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales.

Playing at Warner’s Drive-In June 17 & 18, this weekend only, ages 11 and under will be admitted for Free thanks to Shentel, who is covering the cost of the tickets. Adult admission is only $5.

Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales is PG-13 and is 129 minutes long. The movie starts at dusk (approx 9:00) and will be preceded by commercials from local sponsors. Don’t forget to check out the snack bar, with all your favorite drive-in food and more being added regularly.

Summer Heats up with Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. 2

The hit parade begins this weekend at Warner’s Drive-In. The blockbuster Marvel movie, Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol will be playing Friday & Saturday, June 9 & 10.  The movie is rated PG-13 and is 136 minutes long.

This movie is particularly special for Warner’s Drive-In. The original Guardians of the Galaxy, released in 2014, was the final film played on the old drive-in projectors. The drive-in was shuttered a week later and stayed that way until its revival in September of 2016. (Also notable is that Guardians 2 was released nationwide the same day the drve-in reopened for its first full season since the original film).

The live action remake of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast will be playing at Warner’s Drive-In this Friday and Saturday, May 12 & 13.

The movie starts at dusk (approx 8:30) and will be preceded by commercials from local sponsors. The price for admission is $5 for ages 12 and up, $2 for ages 5-11, and Free for kids under 5.

Fate of the Furious Kicks Off 2017 Drive-In Season

Warner’s Drive-In theater is kicking the season off with in a fast pace when it opens on May 5 & 6 for the 2017 summer season.

The Fate of the Furious, the eighth movie in The Fast and the Furious franchise, will be the season opener, and is also part of the official schedule for this weekend’s Spring Fest festivities.

See Your Business Name on the Big Screen

Warner’s Drive-In in Franklin, WV is reopening for the 2017 Summer Season on May 5!

Though last year’s fundraising efforts resulted in the drive-in reopening last September, there is still much to do, including purchasing the property.

This is where local businesses can help, when they consider adverting with Warner’s Drive-In!

Not only will doing so help secure a local landmark’s future, but the business message will be seen by hundreds of visitors each week throughout the season.

Packages range from $100 to $1,000 for the season, with a 30-second commercial being a perk of  the highest package. The deadline to sign-up for the full season is April 14. Late signups are not prorated, so businesses should act right away.

Warner’s Drive-In finished the year with a bang, or rather a boo, as scores of costumed kids came out for the inaugural Fall Fest Trunk or Treat.

The winner for the Best Costume was Levi Phillips, who came dressed as a Pendleton County School Bus. The Best Decorated Car was The Clubhouse by Sadie Belle Armentrout.

Other winners include – Natalie Evick, Page Lyn Long and Dylan Turner.

Warner’s Drive-In Wins Tourism Development Award

Warner’s Drive-In was honored with the Tourism Development award at the annual Pendleton County Chamber of Commerce banquet, held Nov. 3 at The Highlands Golf Club in Franklin.

Accepting the award were drive-in board members Mike Mallow, John Connor and Gail Price. Price outlined the money the drive-in has raised so far, and how much more needs to be raised to purchase the property and renovate the buildings.

The drive-in closed for the season on Oct. 29.

The board meets regularly and is always looking for new members to help share new ideas and  expand fundraising efforts. Anyone interested can contact any board member.
